Skada Capital was co-founded by Sandeep Thakrar. Mr. Thakrar has twenty years of business experience. He has a BS and MBA from the Wharton School of Business in Finance and Management. In addition, he was a Senior Manager at American Express in the Small Business Financial Services Group. He also was a Principal with Katalyst, a regional Venture Capital firm. He has also worked at several other entrepreneurial and larger companies over his career
Kavita Thakrar, Esq. - Co-founder, VP of Corporate Development and M&A Advisory Services
Skada Capital was co-founded by Kavita Thakrar. Kavita heads up the M&A Advisory and outsourced business/corporate development practices in which she helps connects CEOs to buy and sell businesses. Kavita has over 15 years of business and legal experience. Most recently, Kavita was Director of Business Development at SmartCEO, a regional magazine that connects CEOs in the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to SmartCEO, Kavita had founded a successful legal recruiting business in the DC area. Kavita started her career as a lawyer with two major international law firms in New York City, Jones Day and Morrison Foerster where she focused on M&A, Private Equity and other corporate transactions. Kavita received her law degree at University of Victoria and her LLM in Banking and Securities Regulation through a joint program with Boston University and Harvard University.

Jon Levine - Director, Business Development Jon directs business development for the firm. In addition, his responsibilities include maintaining and building new strategic client relationships and salesforce management. Jon comes to Skada with 14 years of professional experience in the residential and commercial lending industry. For the past 8 years, he served as the President of Interstate Funding Corporation. Jon is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park.
